was thinking of painting the top of my M109A3 van body white to stop the expansion and contraction of it from heat. do you think it would detrack from the vehicle?

Out here that is SOP. Everything at the proving grounds is white on top. Imagine spending a day in a M113 on the range popping mines with a long probe while it is 120 deg outside.
