No. Weight isn't the issue. Attachment points are the issue. They do make/made an adapter pallet to put the S280 onto and then that pallet mounts on the M1022 but they are fairly rare and I don't recall ever seeing one released to DRMO.
The M1022 was used a lot by hospital units. It is garbage. The hydraulics are about as reliable as a SEE and hard to operate (you really need 4 people to pump the thing up). Seems like there was always something needing repair on them. The M1022A1 is a better piece of equipment.
There is a reason some of the hospital units now have HEMMTS replacing their 5ton/M1022 combinations. The ones that haven't converted is because of funding and availability....they'll get there.
