Has anybody used any of the windshield polishing kits? My M1028 has the original windshield, which is in excellent condition without any cracks or scratches, however it does have a few areas of haze here & there. I am considering a kit from Eastwood but would like to have comments from previous users of the product before I take the plunge. Pro Glass Polishing Kit | Eastwood Auto

Thanks in advance for comments.

Well, i dont know about this exact product, we used Meguiars, best available in europe.. We tried to polish very small scraches here, in MB service. Results are not so good. If polish too little, haze/scratches stay, if too much, glass gets "optical or loop" effect. Very visible.

Are you sure, this haze is not between glass (delaminating)?

Thanks for your reply. The haze is indeed on the exterior surface and appears to be some slight discoloration from something which may have dripped on the windshield while the truck was in the motor pool. Windex & 0000 steel wool will not budge it. It's only slight, so you can't see it unless looking in a reflecting light position. It's located in the middle of the windshield at centerline, so it is not absolutely necessary to rectify, but maybe I'm just too picky. I suppose I could just live with it, but hail, I've come this far so there's no sense in giving up now.
