wiring burnt up in 1028

need some advice.
starter stuck in and burnt, besides needing a new starter, dogheads relay mod., glow plug relay and several fuseable links, can anyone tell me what else to look for?

Do you think this was caused by the relay mod? I seen a handfull of guys on here swapping out different relays in place of the OEM unit, I kinda wondered when something like this might happen.
