Hey Txs, whats the status on the M1008?

I dont know since I dont have one. <img src="emoticons/icon_smile_shrug.gif" alt="Shrug"> But my M1028 is just the same until I buy the alternator from one of the board members, hopefully after that she will be in perfect working order. At least the charging system will be.<img src="emoticons/icon_smile_tongue.gif" alt="Tongue">

I believe my dealings with Brian (muddobber)was by far the smoothest transaction I have ever been involved in. The alternator I got from him was exactly as described, showed up on the day he said it would and it worked perfectly! <img src="emoticons/icon_smile_headbanger.gif" alt="Headbanger"><img src="emoticons/icon_smile_headbanger.gif" alt="Headbanger"><img src="emoticons/icon_smile_thumzup.gif" alt="Thumb Up"><img src="emoticons/icon_smile_thumzup.gif" alt="Thumb Up"><img src="emoticons/icon_smile_thumzup.gif" alt="Thumb Up"><img src="emoticons/icon_smile_thumzup.gif" alt="Thumb Up"><img src="emoticons/icon_smile_thumzup.gif" alt="Thumb Up"> My truck is now charging happily along. If I ever have the opportunity to deal with him again, I wont think twice about it.

Outstanding! I'm glad to see the M1028 (got it right this time) going down the road again. Did you end up switching it over to 12V?

Since I have the CORRECT alt now, Im going to leave it at 24v. Mainly because I plan on in the future to add a heavy duty winch.
