I have one of the dueces on hold and fear that they will pull the instruments. If they do,how hard is it to plug in a replacement? Will it be obvious where the wires go, or do I need to use my multimeter and take measurements at the leads and use my detective skills. For example, water temp would have a lower reading when the engine is cold, oil pressure would have a higher one when cold and 0 with the motor off, etc.

I am also thinking about driving to Huntsville Al. and marking the wires and plugging the air line,if they will allow it. Don't know how the truck driver will load the duece if the air line isn't pluged.Do you think that would be a waste of time?

anyway. the gauges are all really easy to mess with everything is standardized between military vehicles so once youdo it once your good forever.
