Won't Start -- Protective Control Box Fried?

1992 998 6.2L was running fine. Installed a new soft top then it wouldn't start...nothing, no glow plug light no cranking. Batteries are 12.2V and 12.3V. From reading other threads it seems if you don't get a "wait" light for the glow plugs the PCB may be fried. Any other ideas? Thanks in advance. Oldav8tor.

Are you sure its no wait light at all? I had thought the same thing. It wasn't until nighttime that I realized that it was flashing once super fast. Replaced the Glow Plug Controller and the wait light is functioning as normal now.

But even with a bad PCB shouldn't it still crank? I have a bad PCB and bad plugs, but it would still turnover. If it's not turning over at all, maybe something else has come undone.
