WRECKER TOWING

one of the manuals i have tells to just put the transfer case in neutral when lift towing. anyone know if the t case will be damaged this way? i was thinking the drive shaft between #2 axle and the t case should be pulled. any suggestions? comments? opinion's?

After a hundred miles or so, bad things happen. I'd pull the shaft. Matt has toasted more than one deuce TC being lazy.

the truck i just towed had its shaft removed. is it the fact that the transfer would be on a angle that would mess it up. like to get the whole story on that for future adventures Tim
