XM215 Needs to be saved - Michigan

Checked out this XM215 today.
Been sitting in this museum parking lot for a few years.
It was on CL for Just about scrap value.
Will need to be trailered or different tires put on to tow bar it.
Rear drive shafts have been removed, a bit rusty but pretty much complete.
Has the winch at home that goes with it.

Don't know the seller, son of owner said they are selling to help pay medical bills.

I thought it was in decent shape although I also thought it was a little older.
The wiring has been somewhat butchered and it needs something to cover that awful paint scheme it has.
Not sure it's worth $1200 but value is in the eye of the beholder.

That is a great museum. I was there in July for the first time in five or six years. The addition of the captured
weapons and uniforms from the Japs, Germans, and Iraqis is awesome.

If I buy it you deliver Bob?? My neighbor just got $265 a ton so the $1200 is not to bad for rare truck don't you think?

$190 a ton here for cars, less for big stuff. The truck is probably worth the $1200 but not to me, as my motivation to check it out was profit orientated.

scrap is $210 a ton at the closest scrapyard to where it is sitting althought
the fluids have to be drained and they shear the tires and give them back to you

2 foot plate & structural is $ 280 a ton, its about the only way to make money around here there's no jobs
