That looks great. Excellent fab work. How close together are the tires? if you load the trailer down and the tires squat any, you don't want them touching each other. Could wreak havoc on the sidewalls.

Looks great to me. I like it. It gives the trailer a beefier look, and now you have a couple spares with you at all times. The fenders look great, nice work there. Be sure to post more pics of it hooked up and loaded down!

Very nice work there!Yep, I've gone & done the unthinkable: I installed dual 11.00x20 tires on my M105A2 trailer, and built metal fenders over them. I used a mix of leftover & scrap steel for the framework, along with some 16-gauge sheet steel for the flat panels. Everything is welded in place, so it's a permanent modification.
The mudguards/splashguards are cut-down Deuce items, but as the metal retainer strips that bolt over the rubber mudflaps were rusted into oblivion, I had to make my own...they work quite well.
I call it my M105A2E2 (assuming M105A2E1 would be with 9.00x20 tires, mine uses 11.00x20 tires). It sits level with my Deuce pintle hitch, and my Deuce rides on 395s.
Not really unthinkable. This trailer came through GL back in 2010. There have been others also.

Silverstate great fab work on the fenders and it looks pretty darned neat, but I have to ask WHY? I do not mean tht in any bad way and there is no sarcasm in asking in any way, do you haul heavy loads over soft terrain and need more flotation? It does look pretty darned cool and again great fab work!
