Layoff; economy inching along; bills to pay; time to put new legs on an old plan/ dream:

* Re-purpose a deuce, and start my own small business

* Still a work in process (Tab A goes in Slot B), and the "money shot" (for my advertising) will follow later.

We'll see how it all shakes out. Keep you posted.

Wow, a real paint booth!!!! I painted my M929 in my front yard. Good looking truck kit. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Good luck with your business.

I can't resist, do you have the crane thats going on there? Are you still looking? What reach and capacity will it be?

It does look like a cool idea. Hope that tool bed is 12' long so you can't bob it. I also share Gimp's curiosity about the crane. Love any truck with one mounted. What kind of business?

I noticed it says 12v for the winch. Were you able to get on in 24v or do you have a plan to address that? What height will it reach mounted to that elevator you got on the bed?

Yes, indeed. The motor is wired for 24v.

Told them it was a requirement and asked could they do it (and there was a small up charge), but no problem. Done. And good to go.
