Once the Governor signs - the COR need to be changed - then the DMV needs to be educated that the change is in effect and know how to further process any new titles and registrations (Matt Bornhorse at my local is already watching so as soon as its possible to Title mine he will). From last information from Swiss - expect around maybe July 1st before any of this takes place - but its in motion now.

I heard on the news this morning that Governor Deal may not veto any of the bills passed by the legislature. No reason he would ever veto our bill anyway, in my opinion.

Swiss, Zout, what does this mean, on top of the "tracking the SB 392" link:

Note: This bill or resolution failed to pass the Georgia General Assembly during the 2013-2014 session
See more at: http://legislativenavigator.myajc.com/#bills/SB/392

WTF?
Robo this information is not accurate, see the bill tracking link below:

Once its formally sent to the Governor, any time before he has to sign it or it get signed automatically? (I know it was mentioned somewhere earlier, just don't have time to read all posts again to find it)

SB392 still hasn't been signed. The link to Governor Deal's office and the list of bills signed in 2014 is: https://gov.georgia.gov/bills-signed/2014 . In Georgia, the Governor must sign or veto a bill within 6 days of passage during the legislative session or within 40 days after adjournment. If not vetoed during this time, the bill automatically becomes law without the Governor's signature.

There are a number of bills sitting and waiting on his signature. I'm also waiting on HB60.
