The other front had some dark grease but they cleaned up spotlessly. No contamination into the driveline just the bearing. Hub seals were good, I have no idea how it got in there or how long. Years and years and salt water is my guess. The wheel ran cool, tight and quiet. I was in there to change an axle boot and was surprised to find all that. It will be better soon. I have not pulled all the rear axles yet but the oil is clean and dry in the rear ends so I bet they are all fine. On the list regardless.

I installed locking door locks and fixed windshield washer bottle. O and topped off my motor oil.
What was the issue with your washer bottle, and how did you fix it? I have a 939 series, and the metal threaded hold-down ring on the washer bottle pops off when the jar is pressurized. The vent in the top plate is clear and working.

I'll start a new thread on this, but if your situation was the same, please indicate your resolution. Thanks.

I will get pictures of that tonight. I put a filter setup under the hood that's plumbed in line with the original pipe. It's a K&N for large diesels
