You ever use two 4x4 pallets and a strap to unload gravel,sand,dirt.?

Almost 9 tons here. It puts enough weight against the sides and tailgate that you have to shovel them free first.

I feel bad that my truck has about 5000lbs more crap on it than yours. I know the engine is heavier but not tht much. Maybe my ex wife was right....... i do have too much crap.

Used to use the same idea for brush and yard debris. Never tried with anything as heavy as gravel though.
I like your thinking though, good excuse to buy another truck for an anchor!!!

Trees work. Or a pickup works good enough for an anchor. Finding a good strap is the major challenge.

Truck handled it no sweat!
No temp issues and had plenty of brake.

It was weird seeing it with the cover/bows/seats removed.

Loader operator got a little carried away again today, however a lot better job of getting the load forward to get some of the weight on the steer axle.
