Picked up more wood in bulk. Four 5 x 5 sheets made a lot of saw dust and ended up with more panels. The sanding, finishing or painting process continues.

You may be making sawdust but there is no dust collecting on you. Your truck looks great. Just keep getting the bugs worked out.
I appreciate the compliment but there is plenty dust collecting... :ROFLMAO: I wish all this had taken place so quickly but it's been over a while. But I do admit to having new found enthusiasm with the weather becoming warmer and nicer overall. Tired of looking at piles of parts and supplies....

Progress is not always made in large strides.

But small steady ones for me. Pile up the parts and just keep on making headway.

Agreed there:

I do appreciate the encouragement, what I meant more was this isn't happening a quickly as I'm posting it. I am extremely happy to be making progress and it is interesting to see it transform from virtual reality to the real thing!

A few more things done... a small cabinet for more storage. Some more aluminum for a hold down for a portable toilet. And I got all the legs installed, bed is good and solid now! The mount has a lip to catch the other aluminum bar to help opening the storage space.

Reduced the long sticks of aluminum into something a little more usable and started laying things out. Lots of holes and screws.

I wish I had your drill press.
I went through a couple before I settled on that one. It's a tank and makes my little utility room smell like metal shop did in middle and high school... :) It was a local Craigslist find!
