ok so I was able to pin out j Z and a from the wiring diagram I had to order some test leads before I try to test it but I have them identified at least. however when the tcm is plugged in everything on that harness gets ignition power 4 get 24 and 2 get 12v with the tcm unplugged 3 of them loose ignition power 2 of those are going to the pins. also I believe it was j has continuity with 2 wires in the harness neither of which is clean one is 6 ohm the other is 12 ohm

ok that seems east enough now what exactly am i missing on the transmission side of things? is it just the breaker and power from the battery or are there relays and stuff missing as well?
Look at the page I referenced, the breaker, 24V switched, 12V unswitched before the relay and the relay are all behind the right seat.
Break the wires out and look for 14V switched (in run position) you will not find the 12V unswitched because you have no connection running between the batteries, that also means you do not have the lead heading out to the 14V (12V) tap on the regulator, you need to download the schematics for the truck also and look them over very carefully, you look to have a long row to hoe to get that butchered wiring system back together so patience and allot of getting used to reading schematics will be the order of the day.
What is the serial number of your truck, I will see if I can find the schematics for you.

The first pic is what is located behind the seat, the second is the basic power setup.
It looks like you have already noticed but there are both upper and lower case pins on that TCM plug so you have to be mindful of that.

Don’t despair - I bought a truck once that was missing this panel behind the seat - it’s actually not difficult or complicated to fix. It would help immensely if you had another truck sitting there to follow the wiring as you fix it but pics (along with the wiring diagrams above) will help.

That panel has a 12v relay that you have to have to connect to the TCM or your transmission will stay in 2nd gear eternally. It’s really all you need to have there to get going.

My suggestion, buy a used panel with the relays on it if you can. I recently saw one but looked and it was sold. I will take my panel apart and take a few photos for you. I can’t find my old pics I took.

edit : here’s a link to what you need, at least see the pics and note the green relay in there is for the TCM.

One slight correction, it is a 24V relay controlling the 12V switched feed to the TCM
