Yes it will go on the road mainly to get mulch and dirt for around the house. I have a shop that will mount tires no problem as the work on farm eq all the time. Finding a common size close to the original is my problem
Just got a m101 that I plan to use around the house, it still has the non directional tires on it and they have many dry rot cracks. My question is what's the cheapest most common tire size for replacment? I've used a tire size calculator but from what I've looked up it doesn't come up with...
I was was told by my tire shop if keep the ply to 8 and up then there isn't any problem with doing modern tires.
any other sizes to consider that won't be a drastic height change?
Yes I did a search but found 5 different awnsers. I want to replace the NDT with something more common and like to stay around the same size since it sits nice behind the tow vehicle. What's the close to the 9.00 16's, as I've read everything from 285/85 to a 235/85/16?
I got some black from lowes and it doesn't cover bad, I've thinned them down about 5% to spray in a HVLP. Coverage is very nice a big difference in using latex compared to a automotive type paint but I do love the no harsh smell.
Well as I expected lowes is no help and a bunch of lazy idiots. I ended up going to HD and getting them to look it up, took the guy a whole 2 min to find the colors. When I run out I'm going back to lowes and get the colors matched in something they carry due to them being so close to me.
HaHa, the reason I'm interested in these trucks now is cause I saw your trucks sitting behind your shop all fall being worked on its a small world. Very nice setup you have and hope to get one in the near future, message me if you ever need another hand I'd love to learn more about these.
Yea I read those that's what I got my info from but it's all behr numbers and didn't know if lowes could cross that over or if someone already had the number handy.
