    whats my m1009 worth?

I have seen people asking 4500 for them but thats with the faded carc paint so probly 6500 would be the price I would pay.

    whats my m1009 worth?

So, im thinking of selling my 09 and im wondering what its worth. Its a 1986 m1009 thats been my daily driver for 3 years. I bought it running and unmolested with 15000 miles and I drove it for 2 years. Then last summer I repainted it. It was pretty solid accept a fist size hole on the driver...

Getting ready to paint the 09

I am finally ready to throw some color on my m1009. I'm using 383 green from rapco and I've heard it has a little bit of a shine to it and its smoother than the original carc finish. I plan on spraying two medium coats then let it flash dry and one light coat to give it a rough finish like the...

    Injection pump problems

The other day I noticed my 09 had a puddle of diesel under it. So, I traced it up the injection pump where it was dripping around the throttle shaft. I ordered a new rebuilt IP from DCPcart.com, which was for the J-code. Three days later I put the new IP on and started it. It ran great, until I...

    M1009 won't start

I've had the truck for a little over 3 years now and this the first problem its gave me. As far as tools go I do have a volt tester but my grampa has it. I have a pretty good understanding on the machanical end just not the electrical side of things. Also I unplugged the starter relay and fuse...

    M1009 won't start

I used a test light on my batteries and the rear battery is pretty much drained. Is there a fuse relay for GEN2? Both alternators are new so they can't be bad.

    M1009 won't start

I don't have a DVM at the moment. Is there any other way I can test it. Also how can you tell a fusible link is bad.

    M1009 won't start

So I gave it a love tap and still nothing. But I did notice a slight buzzing at the bottom of the dash. It looks like the starter relay

    M1009 won't start

    M1009 won't start

On friday I hopped in my m1009 stuck the key in the ignition, let the glow plugs cycle and when I turned the key nothing happened not even a click. With the key in the on position I noticed the volt meter isn't working but the batteries have a full charge. Also GEN2 light doesn't light up. The...
