Changed the gearing to 3.21 and am loving it. But had to change the front to a 10 bolt since 3.21 is not a possibility for the d60 at least not that i could find. But since it just drives around and occasionally pulls trailer it will be fine.
I haven't had any problem with it since i replaced the stabilizer, and before that it only happened twice in 5 years. I'll have to give it a good checking over as far as the king pins and such and if it needs to much i'll just get one of my new axles out of the crate, pop it in and fix this one...
Here I found a little info here you can check out. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=vacuum%20modulator%204l60e&source=web&cd=6&ved=0CGQQFjAF&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ioffer.com%2F131630521&ei=9KE9T8P5B8rO2AXTwPmNCA&usg=AFQjCNFLkpeQTOT7Ns5Iv43GuXw0Y2xT4w&cad=rja
They do make a vacuum modulator kit for the 4l60e which is on my list of things to try out as they say. If i read it correctly, you don't need a computer if you use one. But i will have to check that out further.
My guess about that piece of plastic is it's part of the oil pump and since the 208 doesn't suck oil from the bottom of the case it has been run low enough on oil to ruin the high syncronizer and who all knows what. The oil level needs to be kept at or near plug level and i even say a little...
I just use 10-30 winter and 15-40 summer. Only thing you have to remember when looking at the ratings for an oil say SF CD, the S stands for spark ignition and the C is for combustion ignition. But not all oils have a C rating so just make sure it has one if using it in a diesel.
Yes it would be a good use for them, so this just shows what kind of retards we have running our country. They don't give a rats A$$ about us taxpayers who payed for this stuff to start with and would gladly buy back to save it from such a stupid act.
No you should not take any out. The 208 has it's oil pump right on the output shaft and they need to be filled to the plug to keep the pump in oil. I've even seen articles as to filling it above the plug some. But they do hold 5 quarts and don't worry about overfilling it a little.
I'm thinking the bus driver here or someone needs to check this situation out for sure. If it is true you are held liable after you have sold it then i would think a person with any sense about him or her, would say I don't think so to buying from GL. Sure glad they can treat us like that, but...
Couldn't have said it better, lets face it crooks and psycho killers don't go through legitimate channels to get what they want. It's nothing more than our Government treating us like criminals and controlling our every move and i for one don't like it. h*ll even the russians can see how bad...
yeah it's never made sense to me either. And the other thing i think is wrong in a GL auction or in any auction is the buyer premium. In my mind who evers stuff is being auctioned should pay the auction house, don't penalize the buyers that's BS.
Guilty until proven innocent, just as i figured. So much for our constitution and bill of rights. In my opinion it's our so called leaders who are the terrorists. George Orwells book 1984 about Big Brother watching you has really come to pass. I remember reading it in high school but thought to...
