Got the truck painted. Now for all the small stuff. And paint the other rims.

Painted 6 rims and put them back on the truck. Still have to paint the bed. And the other 5 rims.

275 for 12 rims

Picked up my rims from the sandblaster and stopped at Idaho Motor Pool and got 4 new tires.

I am speechless. I hope mine looks half as good as yours. What did you use for foam in the hard top?

Just kinda wondering what others were using. Probably will use grade 8 and check them after a while.

There is no marking on the studs. Grade 8 bolts are brittle and grade 5 will stretch some before breaking. I know grade 8 is not always better.

The studs that hold the front spindles on are they grade 8 or 5? I look around and did not find what I was looking for. Thanks

Sorry the pictures are out of order. I painted the door with 24087 Bear exterior paint. But decided to paint it with Rapco 24087. I like the color better. And my wife bought me seat covers from Jatonka for xmas. As soon as the cab is all prepped I am going to sand blast the bed and patch some...

Well here is a update. I work allot so I don't get tons of time with it. I found quite a bit of rust on the truck. Both sides under the door's were rusted out, the windshield frame was rusted out and the cowl was rusted out in spots. But making some progress as time allows.

I bought a orbital sander off the Mac truck. And a Husky paint sprayer from Home depot. I pressure washed the truck before starting. I been sanding the truck with 80 grit sand paper. And replacing rusty hardware with new. Bought 2 gallons of Gillespie 24087. So far the truck looks good.

Seat covers look good! My wife bought me a new set too, Just have not mounted them yet..
