    Spindle studs.

    Just kinda wondering what others were using. Probably will use grade 8 and check them after a while.

    There is no marking on the studs. Grade 8 bolts are brittle and grade 5 will stretch some before breaking. I know grade 8 is not always better.

    Just bought my First M35A1

    Well here is a update. I work allot so I don't get tons of time with it. I found quite a bit of rust on the truck. Both sides under the door's were rusted out, the windshield frame was rusted out and the cowl was rusted out in spots. But making some progress as time allows.

    How do you paint your Deuce?

    I bought a orbital sander off the Mac truck. And a Husky paint sprayer from Home depot. I pressure washed the truck before starting. I been sanding the truck with 80 grit sand paper. And replacing rusty hardware with new. Bought 2 gallons of Gillespie 24087. So far the truck looks good.

    Pulled the winch off and replaced the seals in it and sandblasted and painted the winch...Not sure if i like the green. I had Carquest try to match the paint.

    started to replace a leaky compressor gasket. And replaces some missing screws in the doors.
