I just finished rewiring the engine. Now I'm tring to get it to turn over. Most of the lettering on the fuse panel has been rubed away and I wanted to make sure all right fuses were in there.
My next step is to drop the steering wheel and start tracing the wires back to find out whats not...
It was hacked by the PO and I have not started it yet, just disconnected the harness under the hood. I will pull out all wires I can then tape off the rest till I get it on the road.
The round data port under the dash, is it needed? The PO hacked all the wires under there and I'm still sorting everthing out. If it is not needed can I nix the harness for it on the other side of the firewall?
Thanks.
I'm trying to clean-up the engine bay and simplify things alittle, pulling everything out that dosent need to be there to work. What is the function of the CDRV anyway, other than venting the crankcase?
Is there a glow plug wiring harness or is it part of the engine harness? The PO was nice enough to cut some of the wires under the hood for me and now I'm replacing/fixing all of it  .
Thanks.
Well the alt is no good. Just ordered an alt for a mid 80's Cadi. Housing looks the same, but it's an internal ground. It's 100amp, napa part #213-4205. It'll be in about an hour and I'll match them up then.
