Check that all the linkages are free of rust. The linkages on my m52 are rusted and the only way to get it into high range is to use a pry bar from under the truck to fully engage high gear. Haven't had time to take it apart yet to free it up.

Mt/r's are available. I bought some 395's a few months ago and they had 15-20 of the 37x12.5 16.5 mt/r's stacked in their warehouse.

Any ID plates that might be different? I found two that I'm getting for parts. Crossing my fingers that one might have lockers.

Hoodie, If you wish to keep the hydralic axle that is under the trailer now, you can install an electric over hydralic pump on the trailer, and an electronic brake controller in the jeep and have more brakes than you know what to do with as long as the brakes on the trailer are in good working...

Not to beat a dead horse or add to posts. Before you spend big $$$ on IP, injectors, etc, Try putting the smaller tires on it for a tank or so and just see what happens. I'm not saying your milage didn't increase, but I've never been that fortunate to get a lift, bigger tires, and better MPG...

000 or 0000 steel wool works wonders on glass for overspray. Just don't use it on mirrrors as it will scratch them. Be careful with razor blades. If it has a nick in it, it can scratch glass.

I pulled them down little by little with the impact in a cross pattern until they were all snug then got them all tight with a 3/4" impact. I think I'll put a torque wrench on them just to see where they're at.

Getting ready to mount some 395's and was wondering if anyone knew the torque specs for the valve stem and the main bolts. Also should the o-ring be lubed to keep it from cracking?

Just an opinion, I'd build the bed so the frame and cross runners went around the fifthwheel plate and allowed the plate and the floor of the bed to sit flush on one another. Then pin it front and rear. Maybe through the clevis mounts on the rear.

Obviously the logs are enough weight to keep the trucks in the first video from being washed downstream. I bet it is a little more tricky to get across empty. Either way i think I'll just watch from the bank and skip my turn at the next rally.
