wow, and I thought my trip after buying my 712 ambulance was something. I drove it from NW Arkansas down to Houston at a little over 13 mpg.

I have it marked on my schedule. It will be nice to off-road with some real trucks instead of the little Jeeps. Please tho, don't run over my "little" Pinzgauer. LOL I am planning on coming up on Sat morning and leaving on Sunday.

The only street legal truck I can think of that could handle the weight and "hitch" weight would be one of the big TATRA's. Chipper would follow like a puppy.

Good point there Timothy! If the seller can not furnish a chain of possession then run, don't walk. Either the seller is wrong about the registration or he illegally put tags on it from another vehicle.

I totally agree that we need more seat time in our OD Green (or other color) machines. I own a Pinzgauer 712 (6x6) and love to go offroading. If you promise to not run over my little Pinz then I would be interested. Jim Baytown, tx

batterys One of the Jeep owners probably know how to do it. We had to turn off our radios when cranking the jeep, if not the radios burned up.

I have been running 285-75-16's treadwrights on my Pinzgauer for about a year with no problems. Excellent traction with no road noise.
