Getting ready to purchase another brake booster to replace the one on my truck. Any difference than the W200 brake booster for the same year, or do I need to be looking for a different one?
TIA
Ok, so all of my gauges have not worked for some time. I decided to remove the instrument panel and make my own with aftermarket gauges. Problem is, now that I've removed the factory instrument panel, the truck won't start. Doesn't turn over, acts like the battery isn't even hooked up!
So...
Can't believe it was something so simple. My 6 y/o was riding in the truck with me at the time, and I'm guessing maybe she was playing with the shifter without me noticing. Oh well, the truck is driving fine once again! Good deal, thanks so much!
Ok, I've had my M880 going on 4 years now without a single major issue. I've only had to replace the fuel pump, everything else has been working great on it. Until yesterday. I fired it up (after it had been sitting for a few months) to clean up some storm damage on my land, I loaded it up...
Please excuse my ignorance, but I was curious if I could just swap my pintle out for this:
Pintle Hook Combo With 2" Ball Tow Ready Ball Mounts TR63011
Just don't know if the bolt pattern on the M880 is just a standard 4 bolt.
Ok, so I had a small piece of rubber hose coming from the metal fuel line by the fender well, to the fuel pump. I pulled this off, and brown rusted colored fuel came out of the fuel pump and line. Pulled the filter off and clear fuel came out from the carb side, but rusted colored came out...
Ok guys I'm stumped on this one. My truck starts up and idles fine however when I rev her up to about 3,000 RPM's and hold it for about 5 seconds, she chokes out like she's running out of gas. Same thing happens when I try to climb a hill at highway speed. As long as I get off the accelerator...
Thanks that's what I needed to know. Unfortunately I actually had to work at work, lol so I didn't get anything done on the truck. Didn't even get to go buy the gauges, however did some looking around the net and I'm thinking about some other ones at the moment...
Someone else however did...
Alright, I've got to work the 4th, however basically I'm just babysitting so it'll be easy for me to do some work on the truck. My gauges are severely sun beaten and you can see through the plastic, so I've decided to fabricate a new gauge cluster to fit into the dash. O'Reilly has some decent...
Thanks for the offer, however after this set of rubber I'll definitely be putting some 16's on the truck. Don't want to have to go through this hassle again for tires, plus I'd like to have a little more all-terrain tire choices...
That was 3 different salvage places, and yes I think they're all crooks. Told the last one I could get brand new ones shipped to my house for $220 and he told me he thinks that's what I should do...
Anyway, found a mom/pop tire shop down around where I work that had 4 Firestone...
Thanks for the help guys, called around and nobody in town has any 9.50 r16.5's in stock, and cheapest place to order was going to be $180 per tire plus mount/balance. Called the scrap yards around town and can find wheels, but they're wanting $45+ per wheel. I just have a hard time paying...
