    One Year Later

The box on the steering column is a boost gauge and pyro. We did turn the fuel up just a bit, and due to advice here on SS, we wanted to be able to keep an eye on it. Thx!

    One Year Later

Well, just about a year after driving this 1988 M35A2 home to NW Arkansas from the St. Louis area, with no generator or heater, it is on the road again. Paint stripped and repainted. Everything below the bed is done with roll-on or spray-on bedliner. All fluids changed and bearings repacked...

    Recovered Seats

We picked up another driver's seat from Glen in Salina for the passenger side, and just got them both recovered with digicamo ripstop. Turned out well I think.

BFR Metals, Salina Kansas, a Goodie Hole

Last Thursday I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Glenn and getting a personal tour of the lot. My son and I had a great time and found that Glen is an invaluable resource. After reading that some of you, when there, have so little time with Glen as he is usually quite busy, we felt...

    Driving by BFR Metals

For what it's worth, I will be driving from NW Arkansas to NE Colorado on wed / thurs this week and back on sun. The route takes me right by BFR Metals in Salina, KS. I'll be in a crewcab Chevy with a hard bedcover, so I won't have room for big items, but if someone needs something hauled...

    Attempting to Change fuel filters

350 miles home, and misc driving since then! The filter wasn't held to the top of the canister, so the canister was just acting like a water sep. I thought the same thing ryan77! I think spin-on is the future as there were no; washer, spring, washer, cup in the canister.

    Attempting to Change fuel filters

Started to change fuel filters with a set bought for the "Deuce" and when I removed the primary I found this nasty little solid filter about 1/2 way down in the canister, obviously doing nothing, and I'm stumped as to how the short new primary filter is supposed to be installed. The existing...

M105 Trailer Harness / Plug needed

I have a M105 trailer that had the cord / plug that connects to the truck cut. I need either the plug and I will fab the cord, or the complete harness (as I can't imagine that it would be too involved to replace the entire thing...) Any help on where I can source either one? TIA
