Thanks guys. I am getting a small amount of leakage now. The belt is now at max tension. When I replace it, what besides the bolts would I use anti-seize on?
Gee - Thanks.
I am on an island with limited bandwidth for internet. I know about the TM's and have multiple trucks that I am running commercially - I am asking for help and advice because I need it. If your response is to read the TM - Do Not Respond.
Anyone other than doghead reading this...
I cannot figure out how to tighten the center upper most belt. It is a single belt and runs to the pulley of the compressor/fuel pump.
I understand how to tighten the alternator and power steering pump.
Any help would be appreciated.

The Allison HD4070 will swap with a list of modifications. Has anyone done this yet?
I am getting by for now with my CAT 7155's thanks to some great advice from members. I have 3 trucks with them.
Answered my own questions today. Yes, you can use the Aux. hydraulic out port with the right hydraulic coupler and operate a dump trailer. Works great. The main issue is that the M916's 5th wheel is so tall - the trailer is way out of level. But, for the off road applications I use it for...
Yes, I am aware that the 5th wheel is bigger on the M916. I currently have it connected to the 25 ton M127A1 and have an adapter sleeve that goes around civilian king pins so I can pull them with it.
I have found a dump trailer and will start to work through the process to get it working. I will post pics and ask questions.
Thanks again everyone. This site is so helpful.
Thank you for the advice. I will take the cover off and look to see how the lines are set up. It has two auxiliary ports at the base of the controls in the back.
Found the issue. Semi-loose fuel line connection at the fuel pump. It was sucking air at higher rpm's. FYI for all who are reading. Truck runs excellent now.
