I figured as much. I'm going to have it done by a professional, so it looks like it belongs. I'm going to have it made so it is actually a flap with buckles and straps to put back if for some ungodly reason I would want to travel to an even colder climate.
I may have to mark it up and send it...
Nice setup. i've got a new set (hood blanket and side covers) for my deuce, just need the time to put them on. Putting on all those clips is the P.I.T.A part. Once they're in it's not too bad putting the covers on or off. I still need to put a hole in the one side where the intake is, need to...
I'm coming with the MKT again for 2012. Scheduled to work that weekend, but will be putting in for vacation as soon as i get back from the vacation I am currently on. 8)
I will be getting there early on Wednesday to setup. Took a long time last year by myself, but this year my brother will...
That looks like the right number to me. The odd thing with your trailer is you have a identification number for the field kitchen portion (LME-0122) and an identification number for the M103-A3 trailer frame (65). This is probably where GL is getting their error from. They can only put one...
Very sad news. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends.
No matter how careful you are with your vehicles making sure it's safe, it's the other people on the road you have to watch out for.
Too bad I couldn't get off from work, otherwise I would be right there along with you guys. Be safe and can't wait for the pics. Call me if you have any troubles coming through PA. I'll be a few hours away from your route, but can lend a hand when/if necessary.
Frank
I now figured out why the guy before me had plates underneath the seat frames..... cracked the metal around the bolt holes.
the last 2 pics are from behind the passenger seat where the wires for the radio mount come through.
I've got the metal already, so now all I need are some nice days to...
I just got my M1009 back from having the IP rebuilt and new injectors put in, it runs likes a raped ape now.
Inspection is due at the end of the month and I knew there was no way the truck was going to pass with the rocker panels in the state that they were. Living in the northeast, body rust...
I just got my blender's permit from Pa 3 weeks ago. Pretty easy when you get in touch with the correct person. A guy from the dept came to check my setup (centrifuge), asked a couple of questions, like how much do you estimate on using per year. Handed him a check for $381, you pay up front...
I for one had a great time. Weather was good, even though it was misty Saturday, it was still great overall. There are good things and bad things at every show, you never know how it will be, you just have to deal with it and move on.
I was more into just hanging out, talking to the guys I...
I had a problem with some of my mbu100's, got several different error codes. Turned out to be the pump not rotating. Seems they sat for awhile and just needed to be rotated. There is a black cover on the back of the pump, take it off and rotate the shaft with a wrench and see if that fixes...
Well I finally got around to taking some pics of my setup. It's a PA Biodiesel 55gph centrfuge (my 120gph is backordered still). I'm using a 3/4 hp motor coupled to a Oberdorfer gear pump and a 1200w band heater to warm the oil to ~160F. I opted for the bung connections rather than welding a...
I've been trying to get some inventory together, here' what i've got so far.
(1) boarding ladder (correct) for M35 - slightly weathered, like new
several 5 gal scepter water cans (tan) - some appear to be NOS
tubular HHMWV brushguards, some still have pins to lock them in place
HMMWV seat...
I ordered my setup from Joe last Friday and received it Monday afternoon. I haven't been able to get it setup yet due to work schedule, but I have several hunder gallons of WMO, Turbine oil and Transformer oil just waiting to be processed. Joe's a good guy to deal with, and is very informative...
