LMC MIP floor mats for M1009

Has anyone ever tried the MIP floor mats that LMC sells? They are a hard plastic with insulation on the bottom. Supposed to protect against heat/cold and sound. They run I think $300 for an entire floorboard setup. Just wondering if anyone has them and if their worth the money. Thanks guys!

    cold CUCV

Why did they run the heater core line into the radiator to start with? Don't most vehicles have a closed loop to the motor for the heater core?? No wonder mine takes ten years to get up to 150 degrees when it is only 35 out!!! Its circulating new cold antifreeze in all the time!!

M1009 Not warming up in cold temperatures. Help!

Well, I put a piece of cardboard in front of the radiator, I'm getting up to 150 degrees when it's 34 degrees outside. Is there a coolant line that bypasses thermostat? It took about 15, 20 minutes for it to warm up to 150. Also, for those of you that have water temp gauges. Where did you put...

M1009 Not warming up in cold temperatures. Help!

With a wide open thermostat at idle it would never get the temp up. Im wondering if the engine is just extremely easy to keep cool. The warmer the weather the warmer the truck runs, I could understand running a little cooler if it was, say, -10 degrees. If its 60 or 70 it seems to get up to...

M1009 Not warming up in cold temperatures. Help!

Yes its a hockey puck style... But if it was a bad thermostat that didn't close, it wouldn't warm up at idle like i mentioned before... It would actually cool down wouldn't it? But i will try it!

M1009 Not warming up in cold temperatures. Help!

Ok guys, I live near Dayton, Ohio. Right now the temps around here are dropping. It seems like the colder the temps are outside the colder the truck runs. Two days ago, it was about 35 degrees outside and my temp gauge didn't go over 120 going down the road. When it was parked, warmed up to...

    Tailgate window crank assembly question

The retainer clip holds the clutch on. The spring and the pawl (what LMC calls it) is what holds the cylinder in. The only parts I had are the ones that LMC shows and mine works like a dream!!

It is time... Enter the age of the Cummins

Just food for thought, I don't think you will find that the stock axles will hold up to the torque of a cummins, even a relatively stock one... But if you don't rip on it, it might hold for awhile! I have a dodge cummins with a dyno'd rear wheel hp of 400 and torque of almost 800. The torque is...

    Tailgate window crank assembly question

I had to rebuild mine as well, took me a minute to figure out but it works fairly simply. One day i went to try to lock it and the key cylinder just came out, then it wouldn't roll up or down. When I took it apart I found that the clutch was broke and that caused the spring and pawl to fall out...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

Recently, I have had the interior floor/bed lined with Custom Linings (kind of a cross between Line X and Rhino), also did the doghead starter relay mod, fixed turn signal, horn, installed Autometer Z series oil pressure and water temp gauges, and finally, I installed some Hella 500 Driving...

    tops off

I took the top off to get the inside of my truck sprayed with bedliner, looks cool and it is really nice in this warm weather. I actually even drove it in the rain and didn't even get hardly a drop of water on me! I say top off in the summer time!
