    M37 Low Oil Pressure

Verify that you have the right sending unit. I had the very same problem and found that my truck had the wrong sending unit for the gauge that was in the instrument panel. Had a 120 psi gauge and a 60 psi sending unit. They used both. Replaced the sending unit with a 120 PSI and now have 70+...

NC Members-House to consider MV plate

My comment regarding the age requirement was mostly aimed at the new MV plate. No age requirement on an MV plate would be awesome. There should be a difference between MV plates and Antique plates other than aesthetics.

NC Members-House to consider MV plate

Subscribed. Keep us posted. I hope it passes with no additional restrictions on use. The antique auto plate is fine, but NC's 35 year requirement is a little bit redundant. Why do they insist that something must be 35 years old to be collectible? Most of the 5T truck I see on GL are 1984+, so I...

    MY Airpack Rebuild with Photos!

According to Picture A on page 4, the conical piece is the spring seat that sits inside the end cap on the slave cylinder. I'm still confused as to where this washer came from. If it is slid over the conical seat, it won't ride in the recess with in the endcap. When our air pack was...

    MY Airpack Rebuild with Photos!

I don't know if it makes any difference, but this airpack is off of our 67 Kaiser and appears to be original and hadn't been functional in a while given the amount of interior corrosion. It didn't appear to have ever been apart as I had one helluva time getting the "cage" out of the compensator...

    MY Airpack Rebuild with Photos!

I don't have pictures handy, but these parts weren't in the rebuild kit. They are original parts that fell out during maneuvering will disassembling.

    MY Airpack Rebuild with Photos!

Quick question: my dad and I are in the final stages of reassembly on our air pack rebuild and we have a couple parts left out that we can't figure out where they go. We've searched the forums and TMs several times to no avail, including your photos. The one piece is a hefty conical piece...

    Fuses or Circuit Breakers

Just bought a 1972 M35A2 and have electrical issues. The only thing that works is the lights. Can't find a fuse panel. Are they all breakers? Is there a main supply point for these things. Has a cab heater, blower won't run. Has been upgraded to electric wipers. Neither work. Any help would be...

    refurbishing batteries

The last Deuce, 1972, came from the base with both batteries completely discharged. Used a constant voltave charger. Two weeks on 2 Amp setting and another two weeks on 10 Amp setting and they tested fine. They are working fine in the truck now. Hope they hold up.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Just replaced the two front steel brake lines on the one we got from the liquidation company. It had absolutely NO brakes except the parking brake. Bled the system and now we got great brakes for such a large vehicle.

    I've got the bug

Thanks y'all. I didn't expect to find a cure. I find myself wanting a 5 ton, unimog, gamma goat, pickup, tank, and the list goes on. If I find myself in the area next week, I'll try to make an appearance at the rally. And I'll post pics soon.

    I've got the bug

Three weeks ago my dad purchased our first Deuce, a 67 Kaiser Jeep, for us to enjoy along with my brother. It needs a few things, but it runs and drives. Onve we got it and I got to drive it a few times, I started feeling ill. It was an odd illness. In search for an antidote, I visited Gl to see...
