Trust me...mine is a 52 and you got 55yrs of crud build up. :( Mine had as much water in it as it did gas!! I drained into a 5gal bucket, rinsed ALOT with water, and now have it ready to remove the screw heads. Still has alot of BIG pieces in the bottom. Gonna have to figure out if she is...
Drained the tank on my new (to me) 52 studebaker gasser m35. It was like a sand box and the cat had been eating rust! :D Grit, actual rocks, and lotsa rust. Drained the gas/water mix into a 5gal bucket and then ran water in the tank till she ran clear.
Got 2 problems, the senting unit...
Looking for a choke cable, knob, mounting plate (?), etc. Going on a 52 M35 gasser with a Holley carb. Carb is being rebuilt and I am advised to get a choke to encourage starting. :) Anyone have a extra in a junk box, extra parts truch, etc?
Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: M35 canvas top dimensions... anyone?
You got mail.... :)
I promise to make a pattern with dimensions that I'll post for d-load. :D
Re: RE: M35 canvas top dimensions... anyone?
Yep... a MS paint drawing would be great with dimensionds.... :) Not asking for too much am I? I hand-made one for my 1947 CJ2A so a small top for the M35 won't break a sweat. :)
Haven't found a canvas supplier yet....
Hey, I got the same year!!! 1952 Studebaker with a 331cu gasser in it.!! I picked mine up last month. Cool... shoot me a e-mail when you get it, we can help each other out.
There is a instruction on rebuilding the 3-way light switch on a M35 but I cannot load it. Anyone have it downloaded that they can send me?? eadams@wk.net
thanks
