I had that problem with my Deuce, after replacing the headlight. Discovered that I crossed a wire during installation.

Yeah, it's my first EUC. What a pain. Got notice a couple of days ago that GL sent it to Battlecreek. I guess that's a good thing.

Mine came apart at the handle , center wire seperated from the handle, so I soldered the center wire back on to the handle. Had to carefully grind away a little bit of the solder in order to re-insert the center wire back in to the outer wire. Made that repair a year ago and it's still holding.

Figures that the Peoples Republic of Massachusetts would have special rules.

Oh yeah, forgot about stump pulling. Theyr'e great for that too.

Welcome to SS. I was looking for a cheap used pick up truck, for general home use, i.e. grounds keeping, landscaping (mulch), hauling the occasional appliance, garden tractor, motorcycle, etc., and came across one for sale on Craigslist. I didn't know it was possible to buy one at the time...

It's possible to buy new Thompson SMG's, although they are semi-automatic. Price starts around $1400. I've been considering buying one my self. Love the way they look and feel.
