Anyone have a lead for a replacement windshield for a M1078?

We have a 915A4 and it'll do every bit of 80. We have a 916A2 and that big old thing will barely do 55-58. Anyone have a site to get gears for the 916 so we could look at a swap? We'd like to get it up to 65-70 if possible.

For what we are using it for, I really think the 1400/20's would be better anyway. My only fear is blowing or flattening one in a fire and being out of the fight where with the duals you can keep going.

Would finding an HD4560p Allison from a 915 work? We have that tranny in our 915A4 tanker and it works excellent.

We've also thought about putting some 14.00x20 super single, 5-ton combat rims/rubber on it. Thoughts?

Well it could've just been luck of the draw but we've blown out two different tires in the sidewall. The truck isn't near capacity either.
