    Electrical troubles in my M1094

So how many fluid ounces does a light switch hold?

    m1009 tranny issue

Classic direct clutch or valve body issue. Pull the pan, inspect the debris. With no vacuum a th400 will have hard delayed shifts(higher shift points). Muddy oil is a bad sign..................

    1984 M1009 Trans Problems

Glad to see you got it sorted and posted the results. It is very common for Trans guys like myself find something simple overlooked. TH-400 or 700R4 fluid and filter 2yrs or 24,000 miles for normal use, change before fluid turns acrid(brown/burnt). Here is a diagnostic tip on reading...

Just bought a MTV M1094 LVAD

Dave, it was fun getting it up and running/function tested last weekend. Can't wait to see the project move forward now that you got the brakes fully functioning today and it moves under it's own power.:D You may want to put a separate thread in for the park brake release diagnostic method you...

Check operators TM for "Fording" configuration instructions.

    M35a3 3116 missing engine part ?

Looks like an oil pressure feed out of the oil cooler. Since it has a check valve in the middle, it may be an aux oil pressure tap for turbo or other engine driven devices. If it does not have a current component to hook up to, I would at least put a protective cap on it. Best to look in TM's

    M151-A1 Transmission problem

You will be pulling the trans out for repair. Sounds like the rear mainshaft bearing may be done in causing the mainshaft to move, it does'nt sound like a fork issue. Just hope the syncro, slider, and gear are still good. Post up some images when you get it apart, it is a very simple trans...

    Pinz Parts suppliers

You need to revisit that diff before it comes apart. It sounds like a pinion nut has loosened. It takes 2 special sockets and over 230ft lbs torque on the (blue loctited) bearing retaining rings. Could also be the spider pin bolt come loose, or even a front locker bearing failure. Drain the...

    Halflinger ?

I have a 72 NA700AP Civilian Haflinger. It is a blast and will make Jeepers and Rhino drivers jealous. They are a nimble, street legal, 2cyl air cooled 32hp 45mph (w 5sp) and have lockers front and rear. And they can carry a good size load. They are pricy, and parts are also up there a bit...

    Tranny Help

Your welcome:-D Good job:!: I built a lot of these units in my earlier days and can usually diagnose one in less than 5 min.

    Tranny Help

The case should have a tag with 2 letters and a number, the number is the year. The best advice is to compare the case pasages to the original, if they are not the same, you may need a different seperator plate. The gaskets should not cover any holes. I would not drive it unless you have too...

    Tranny Help

Sounds like no vacuume or a stuck/sticking valve somewhere. For TH400 Check the following items in this order: 1, vacuume at modulator, modulator valve moves freely. 2, pull and clean the governer assembly and make sure valve is free and gear is not damaged. 3, pull pan and remove valve body...

    slipping out of 4wd

In short, they are all poorly designed. There are no syncro rings to allow smooth transitions between ranges. When you change ranges the shift fork moves the entire planetary ring gear to mate or release from a fixed gear. This is where the Europeans have used better options like full...
