Is horse power horse power. Could I use a modern 5.9 Cummins out of a pickup. They can easily be built to 400hp. I’m just curious. Seems to me the engines and the drive shafts on these is where people have the biggest issues.

Anyone have info on a engine swap or what that would take. Just curious because the cat motor is bound to dump.

If your going to go to all this trouble your talking huge money. Find a crane chassis that has all wheel steer. The. No later the size you can go a lot of places. Fat hydraulic pumps Make For good winches

I used to drive my Duce I used to have through the woods all the time over logs and all that it did fine as long as your not rough with it you'll be ok

Im pretty sure your military truck would not fall under any EPA requirements

In Europe they use disc brakes on big trucks with success

The truck odometer says it has 26k on it how long do they last powertrane wise I'll assume then that the rebuild replaced non of the bigger components would that be a more accurate guage of the truck
