Ferrule sizes for copper air line that connect to airpack

To clarify what I was explaining. The copper is exactly the same and the ferrule is a perfect fit. The problem I am having is in the fitting directly. The fittings that are on my deuce are exactly the same as the ones in the first photograph of this post. A standard 3/8 compression fitting is...

Ferrule sizes for copper air line that connect to airpack

I tried the 3/8 on my deuce and it would not work. There seems to be some play in the 3/8 fittings. I checked at NAPA and a hydraulic hose shop and both confirmed that is just a slight bit larger (.044) than 3/8 compression type. Does anyone know of a good source or should I just work back...

My Bobbed Deuce is almost done

Fantastic job on this truck. I had some questions on the fuel system and dual tanks. I have seen a few set ups and I was wondering how you did yours. Also, do you have any photos of the wiring for the front fog lights and winch. Thanks for all the great info. Dan

I tried to reset it , adjust it, clean it ( 30 years of Texas sand embedded in it) and I finally gave up and got the new unit. I plugged all of the extra ports...

    Air System for the deuce

More specific The bendix d-2 has three reservoir ports ( air from compressor) three unloader ports, and 1 exhaust port. needs to be mounted with the exhaust port facing down and the unit is adjustable. From start of the deuce I am getting air straight out of the exhaust port and the unit...

    Air System for the deuce

Guys, I have a question about the air governor. Mine was bad and I replaced it with the bendix d-2 model. I followed all of the steps and it will not engage. I think I missed something simple. It just unloads through the exhaust port and will on engage or allow the pressure to get past...
