Current plan is to drive the M-54 (Squirt) and pull the TK12 with the M-37 (Lil-Squirt) and the M-274 (Baby Squirt). Not knowing what the site has to offer, and having two days to play, makes decisions tough on what toy to use.

If ya'll will determine a time, and plan on running at roughly 45 then Squirt-Truck will join the convoy also, somewhere around I-20 at Six Flags or I-285. We all will burn a lot less fuel at that speed. Dumpster has canceled out, he is sitting for the P.E. that Friday and will be wasted.
Need some feed-back, I am new to the M-37 family, have a 1951 model that was originally a radio truck. The big generator was changed to the 25 amp before I got it.

Squirt-Truck (M-54-A2) gets 6 MPG at easy crusing, 45 MPH, 5 pushing her at 52-55 MPH, with 24,500# in the bed at cruse she gets 5.5+ with 33.000# in tow (54,160# GCVW) she will do 4.5+ MPG at 45 MPH. She has an LSD-1A that I run at 200+ degrees. I run diesel with 20% waste motor oil.
Cranetruck, you are also comparing an LDS to an LDT engine. Have you looked at the injetors? I believe that the -1 engine used 2 hole injectors like many of the LDT's but smoke and such from the higher fueling rate drove the development to the -1A engine, which has single hole stream injectors...
