If you are looking for audio connector cables for VIC-3 that are clocked in opposite directions, look for CX-13473 (the cable will be indexed to 9 o'clock) and CX-13489 (cable indexed to 3 o clock). I have both cables available in new, unopened packaging. PM me if you need one or both.

Wasn't sure if I should put this in events or SE members forum. I hope i am in the right place.
The purpose of this message is to see if there are any MV owners in the Atlanta area that would like to join me once a month or so to provide vehicle rides at a local museum and get paid for those...
My experience is the Bose does not work with vic-1. Your most common headset options are the classic H-161 headsets or the H-251 headset coupled with a hand mic.

I use them on a vic-3 just fine. In my experience, they don't work on vic1. Probably wouldn't work on 524 then. Not sure about 1439. Make sure you are pairing them with a cx-13479 bailout cable not a cx-8650.

For the VIC-1, use C-2297, C-2298 and/or C-10456 crew stations only. I am not sure why the VIC-4 has more, maybe due to its intended use in fire support vehicles

To answer Scott's question from November, you need a CX-13479 bailout cable. The H-374 is a vic-3 headset with active noise reduction. The same helmet on the VIC-1 is a MK-1697 (I think and it doesn't have ANR) and the MK-1697 uses a CX-8650 bailout cable with a cannon-type connector instead of...
I cannot answer your radio or antenna questions. I once owned a VIC-4 system, and it does use same headsets, connector and power cables. It is sometimes referred to as the M981 FISTV intercom. There may be some documentation out there for that. I haven't looked.

In my experience, the 6 pin stuff often doesn't work with the 5 pin VIC1. That said, I haven't tried the Peltors.

H-161F is more recent and uses a cannon connector bailout cable rather than the older snap connectors. The H-161Fs are compatible with CVC helmet bailout cables. I do not think the Peltors work on a VIC1, but probably will work on a Vic3.

I couldn't find much out there about this system, so I have done some tinkering and thought I would provide a report in case it helps someone else in the future.
I picked one of the crew boxes up not knowing much about it. I couldn't find any instructions online and there are no info plates on...
I reached out to a technical contact that was listed on a document that I found, and I received the following response:
Answer: NetCom operates on both +24 VDC Military Ground Vehicle power & + 28 VDC Military Airborne power. As more detailed info – NetCom operates from + 9 VDC - + 33 VDC as...
So I know power comes in thru the U-229 on J1 of these thru pins A and F. It looks like A is the ground and positive voltage comes thru F. Can anyone confirm this?
I am assuming operational voltage of 24v to 28v DC, but cannot find that info anywhere. Can anyone confirm?
Doesn't look like...
Before I sold my HMMWV, I had a 6-position setup (with 4 at each seat and 2 control boxes in the bed). Mine was set up with a CX-4723 coming out of the AM-1780 at each of J504-J506 and going into J801 of the C-2298s. Additionally, I daisy-chained two of the C-2298s with a CX-4723 coming out of...
To answer Juanprado's question, none of the parts other than the headsets are interchangeable between vic3 and TOCNET based on my conversation

I was at a healthcare conference in Nashville at end of April, and I walked into the much more interesting Army Aviation conference that was at the same conference center. The 160th SOAR flew down a bunch of their really cool birds from Ft. Campbell and let us walk thru them. You couldn't...
