I've been using my MEP002A with my Hobart 175A mig welder for a couple of years. Never had any issues, 175A setting puts the MEP002A @ 80-90% I would have someone watch the "% of load" gauge just to see how far you can turn the welder up to. HMFG

Hi, That is a generator inlet box, you wouldn't want to use that. You would want the female version of that. You want the receptacle that matches your welder plug. HMFG
