It's funny, cause I have a soft top, and there is a Brinks padlock and chain for the steering wheel. I've been content to keep nothing in it.

Speaking of wiper blades, I lost an arm on the passenger side and I bought 2 replacements. For the life of me, I can't get the other one off or get the lost one on. What is the deal with those?

I have a M998 with a 4 man soft top that is newer. Just like any convertible soft tops are leaky. I had the same problem on my 85 CJ7.

I'm lucky enough that mine isn't rusted, but I get why you're taking the time now. With surface rust you'll have a time getting anything to adhere.

So, I've been wondering if the CARC paint stripping process is necessary. Unless you're going for a Concours Restoration and you plan to recreate the factory original pattern I can't imagine that removing the CARC paint would be a good use of time. If it's chemical resistant, so well adhered...
One of my wiper arms fell off (passenger side). I bought 2 planning to replace them both but this isn't matching up with the manual or the part I received. Am I missing something?
