    UPDATE:: I found the timing gear on crankshaft had broke half moon key off flush allowing gear to spin on shaft as well... now I have to figure out what caused this? possible crankshaft walk??? cracked main cap??? what??? anybody saw this before?

    I too use synthetic In my 08 duramax but the 400 friction plates and seals was not designed for that, there are companys out there selling the "wonder" fluids for the application but use at your own risk problems won't show up right away buy what I have seen from this was lip seals swelling...

    Dually 73-87 Dual wheel trucks had 2 widths, Cab and Chassis was narrow compared to a factory dually Bed trucks, then of coarse you had the SRW trucks and vans. The cucv dually that I had did have the adapters and fenders added to it to make it a dually I got it straight from GL like that.
