    MEP 802A Over-Voltage Relay Repair

So these are a seemingly insignificant part, but are necessary for the generator to run and, to run safely. Seeing as how they sell for upwards of $400 and that's more than I paid for a single non-running unit, it seems a shame that one was water logged and ruined. Therefore....in traditional...

    MEP802A cart

They definitely are a must. Of the two units I won at auction, one had only 70 hours on it and a cylinder full of water. The other still had the cross hatching in the bore. The upper 1/4 of that cylinder is about ruined as a result. It probably would run as-is, but I couldn't imagine it would...

    MEP802A cart

Here's some pics I got available. And.... something else....an aluminum warning tag that fell off an old machine at work

    MEP802A cart

Hahaha you caught me. Neither unit I bought had the actual exhaust cover. Since I have a certain fondness for the ol' flapper cap, a 1-1/2" NPT coupler will thread onto the exhaust outlet and then accepts a cap for a 2" pipe

    Battery disconnect switch .

The first time the batteries die, I have a strong feeling that I might regret it. But at the same time....it might help keep them from ever dying. It is far more convenient though then disconnecting the batteries for repairs

    MEP-803A Alternator and Pulley

Good observation. I don't see one in the parts illustrations either. They do list their own 24V alternator though

    MEP-803A Alternator and Pulley

There's a master catalogue for Lister Petter engines (whats in the MEP 802A and 803A). They do list an alternator and pulley, but of two different sizes. The one closer in size, I found it here https://www.oldtimerengines.com.au/genuine-lister-petter-lpw-alternator-pully-61-5mm-751-10965 Never...

    Battery disconnect switch .

So this thread is a tad old, but fitting. I opted to eliminate the slave receptacle since I don't have much use for it and installed a battery disconnect there. It's still tucked in the side nicely, and the wiring portion is extremely simply.

    M1101 eye candy

And there's my 1101. Immaculate condition when I got it aside from one dent. No tears or rips in the zippers either. Since it's the same 8 lug pattern as the truck, I put an old matching set of 35's on it. Lights are redone with 5007 LEDs from advance and then the 12/24 units for brake/marker/turn

New here and maybe Forums in general

I don't have any good recent pictures of the 1101, but did post a pic of the generator and some of the customization I did

    MEP802A cart

So I figured I'd share this with y'all. I picked up two of these in extremely bad shape and got one almost to 10/20 standard. I had the junk one on a gorilla cart to move around more easily and liked the idea enough that I made a cart specifically for the hood one. 2" wide 1/4" thick angle fits...

    MEP-009A TMs needed

You can look at the Army Publishing Directorate to find what TMs exist. If you go through the hassle of installing the security certificates, you can download some manuals from them. This way, you can at least see which ones exist and maybe find them elsewhere. There is a -34 manual for a MEP...
