Is there a TM that has what the optimal oil pressure should be?
After a few oil changes my oil is no longer black sludge. At cold idle the gauge (120lb) shows 60, but at warm idle (160deg) oil pressure is around 30, goes back up to 60-80 with the go pedal down. I know the pressure will change...
I like the look of it! This is what I am looking to build as it would still allow removal of the soft top.
Did you use rectangular steel tube for the bar?
Would love some detail or pictures on how you mounted to the window frame.
I have those flood lights as rear/backup lights, they are quite...
I test fit mine all over last weekend. There wasn't anywhere that would work that was in reach of the batteries without extending the 24v/12v source wires.
Behind the passenger seat interfered with the seat back, same as in the well for the slave plug.
Mounting vertical under the passenger seat...
Your problem is almost 95% the same as the issues I had.
Ran out of fuel and limped it to the gas station.
Wouldn't start without spray.
Good fuel after priming all the way up to the HH including out the center plug.
I was running straight diesel.
Your's seems to idle better than mine did, if...
Unless you are using the Duece commercially or hauling products under contract, there is no reason for a chauffeurs.
Specific law: MCL link
Same goes for the CDL for a 5ton, I cant find the MCL after a quick search but here's what the SOS says: SOS Link
The key in all of this is use. Using...
Update! I just got off the phone with an SOS "technician" who confirmed the GVW plates do not have late fees, and it only took 38 min on hold!
I directly asked "Would I be setting myself up for trouble or more fees if I only use the vehicle in the summer for camping and only registered it for 6...
A quick note on the GVW plates, when I went in to the Jackson branch last Friday (Dec 28th) to renew mine I asked if there was a late fee like on the regular plates. I was told there was not a late fee and you don't have to have the GVW plates current all year if the vehicle is not in use. So if...
I used the adhesive backed foam weather stripping available at most hardware stores. I cant remember the size, but the width fit in the channel and it was about 1/4 inch taller than the lip on the door. One piece all they way around the door seems pretty watertight. It is probably not submersion...
Tightened all the injector lines at the IP, trying to sort out a leak at higher RPM.
Made a new gasket for the fuel lifter pump/tank, and cleaned off the fuel that seeped out the old gasket and down the side of the tank.
Jiggled wires and cleaned connections to figure out why the fuel gauge...
Flushed the coolant today, and then attempted to fix the heat distribution box in the cab. Oiled the pull wires and I can now open and close the damper and switch between cab heat and defrost. Although there seems to be very little difference between cab and defrost :-?
Took a nice drive...
I would also be interested in a HH, O rings, and a set of nozzles.
Just replaced my HH with one of these and seems solid, but spares are never a bad thing.
I had a similar problem, stalling when RPM dropped to idle. While my truck initially started without issue a dozen or so times after the stalling issue began, it developed into not starting at all without ether/silicone. Yours still sounds like it starts without issue so that's a plus.
I agree...
