I have a 931 that I want to install a "WILLIAMSTRAILER & AIR REGULATOR VARIABLE CONTROL LEVER VALVE" to limit the pressure applied to the trailer brakes. The issue is I have a couple of trailers that skid easy when empty. Both the tractor trailer and the utility trailer off the back glad hands...
I have a 129A2C that is desert tan and would like to make it 3 color woodland camo again to match my M931A2.
My wife would like her m146 painted in 3 color camo with no green. So Tan, Brown and black.
What I have been looking for an yet to find is the actual pattern I should use for both. I...
I live in mid-Michigan and we bought a 934A2 out of Sparta, WI. So we took the low road on the way there through Chicago and then on the way back took the Highroad through the Upper Peninsula. Beautiful trip and truck ran great all the way home.
Let's try a new post for pics
You can see here the power input port and the wiremold that I salvaged. Also the platform on the back. Lastly I mounted a few boxes underneath for storage as well.
For some reason this post won't let me put more pictures.
You can see the breaker panel and the DC power control box from the 373. The bed is a modified ship berth set. Still modifying.
I'm working on a 129A2C as well but mine won't be a camper only. Mine is basically going to be a mobile workshop you can sleep in as well. I salvaged parts from 2 373's along with the platform on the back. In the process of getting all the wiring done and heater in. I put two Coleman Mack8 heat...
Got the 2 8D batteries in there. 160+ lbs a piece it was a task for sure. The ones I got are a bit wider at the bottom and makes it so they sit on top of the hold down bolt loop. So I had to lift the batteries up with a 1/2" board all across. That made the posts just a bit too tall. To fix this...
I will also be at both Lockbourne and Groveport 3/11 with a mostly empty M119 that will be heading to central Michigan. Anything I can help get further let me know.
Using just 2 8D batteries would be short lived? If I was using the same alternator I would agree since the original one had a voltage regulator that was set to work with Hawker batteries. I am not using that type of alternator again. Plus the use of the inverter is actually better to use the AGM...
Just had a alternator take out all 4 of my batteries. Killed one cell in 2 batteries, 2 cells in one and 6 cells in the last one. :-( Will be replacing today with 2 8D AGM. Will post a picture when done. I have a battery equalizer and a 3K inverter installed too.
I live in Michigan and often have the issue of how to get things "up" here. Why is everything in OK, and West the Miss.? :-( Need to move. Anyway I have a M931 with m119 or 30' flat bed I run to Ohio when I need to. The issue is usually my best time is obviously the weekend to pickup and GL is...
That was exactly it!! [thumbzup]
Now it is single phase and freq is spot on. still low on the voltage side. Like 205 and 102 volts. I tested my 7.5 hp single phase air compressor and it pegs the % over 135% then drops right down to 25% and runs fine. Then tested my welder and it never gets over...
