This is something I saw today.

I doubt GL is bidding both sides of an item. Somebody else has to bid against them for the price to be rising. It takes two fools to overpay or one fool and an auctioneer.

The data plates are brass on my WC63 and the other option would be aluminum. I don't think silver ever happened.

I took my wc radiator to a shop in Dillon SC and he said to recore it would be somewhere above $500 and he didn't recommend it because the top and bottom looked too thin. $450 sounds high for a rodding out but I havn't had it done in many years. I would try to get another price somewhere else.

The problem is the govt. does not even want the truck, they just don't want the public to have it either. It will probably be used for target practice or scrapped or allowed to rust into the ground. Just another example of good govt.

Looks very good. I also use 2.5 gal. chem jugs to transport hyd & engine oil, antifreeze and water. I finally mounted a 10 gal. tank with a faucet to wash my hands and its nice.

I have been checked in my diesel pickup and so have many other farmers in my county and across SC.

So this is why so many Ebay sellers spell it out "don't bid if you are not going to buy". All their time gets wasted.

Sounds like a fantastic vacation. A friend did it on a harley two summers ago and went from SC to Washington state and caught the ferry up the inside passage and came back through the canadian rockies. He highly recommends both of these sights. The ferry might be a good way to rest your butt...
