    M1009 starting problems

    Thanks I appreciate that. I think I might have found the problem. The new rubber lines I put on when I installed my new tank look like they are rubbing the bottom of the cab. I'll let you know as soon as I can get time to work on it. Thanks again

    I'm having the same problem with my M1028. new fuel tank, new lift pump, new check valve in IP, Changed fuel lines, no leaks. Starts great right after you shut it off wait 30 -40 minutes have to crank it a bunch to get it to start. I can pour a little fuel into the intake and it fires right up...

    NP208 Transfer case

    I had the same problem as well. Also started having a vibration between 35 and 45. I took out the transfer case and rebuilt it. a couple oil holes were plugged with rtv. Nylon pads were in great shape ( I replaced them anyway.) Took the truck out today, still have a vibration 30 to 40 mph. Just...

    Trouble getting access to broken starter bolt

    Going thru the same thing with my M1028 right now. the bolt for the bracket was broke when I bought the truck. Managed to get a hole in the bolt last night. No luck with the E-z out though. taking home a larger drill and a tap tonight just in case. Wish me luck! I'll need it!!

    Rear receiver mount question

    I was thinking of an ACME class IV hitch and just cutting the bracing for the pintle so they would still touch the front of the hitch. Then once the hitch is mounted to the frame weld the pintle brackets to the front of the receiver hitch. Maybe my thinking is wrong.(wouldn't be the first time)...

    m1028 charging issues

    I was told by a friend of mine (who's in the army) that if I every had charging issues with my M1028. To first check the bulbs in the gen. dash lights. He said they use those as fuses for the charging system. It's worth a shot!
