Well, if you want to come get it, I can hang on to it for a while. If anyone on here wants it but doesn't know when, all I need is a small security deposit and it'll stay here for as long as need be.
Hey guys
Well, that day has come...I hate to do it...
I need to sell my '52. It's relatively complete, but has some major issues. I'll be scrapping the remnants, but for the love of the vehicle, I'm willing to take off any parts any of ya'll need for your trucks or just spare parts. Here's...
How many different turbos did these trucks come with? And is there an easy way to tell just from the tag which one I have? We have a C turbo (the whistler), a D turbo (non-whistler), and this Schwitzer. Since it came on the 427, might it be considered an A turbo? And if so, what was the B turbo?
I could barely even see the stuck deuce in the photos, what with all the camo you put on the fender. Is that to keep those pesky looters from seeing your distressed vehicle?
I know on smaller trucks with dana 60 front axles, when the king pin bearings or ball joints start to go south, it can cause a similar situation (ask any old Ford-er about 'death wobble'). Are the knuckles on these rockwell axles help to the axle via king pins, and might they be the culprit?
