    From your pics it seems you have a USMC M170. The rear cross-member is a typical Marine corp retrofit. Check your axles for lockers. Later Marine corp M170's were equipped with "PowerLoc" on both front and rear.

    Check the welsh plug to the Cam when you pull the motor . While your at it, inspect the clutch if its oil soaked due to the leak from either the rear main or cam welsh plug. let us know what you discovered.
