    M931A2 power steering pump rebuild

I found the problem. I took the pump apart and found a random bolt lodged in the suction port. I put it back together and it works great now.

    M931A2 power steering pump rebuild

Ok, I will try that. Thank you for your reply. Now that I’ve asked the question, I’m still wondering if there is a rebuild kit available for the pump. After looking at more websites for pumps I found several that have core charges. That leads me to believe there is a rebuild kit or parts...

    M931A2 power steering pump rebuild

I’ve searched the forum looking for an answer to this and haven’t been able to find it. I got my first five ton yesterday. Drove it home 80 miles and had no power steering. When I turn the wheel the pump sounds like it’s grinding (like air in the fluid almost). I sporadically get power steering...

    Leftover parts from bobber project

Hello, I'm almost done with my bobber project. What does everyone do with their leftover parts from their bobber project? The torque arms, leaf springs, mounts and everything else? I'll probably keep the axle for parts but I don't see any immediate use for the rest of the parts. I've been known...

I've been using the search function for a couple days trying to find this information but I'm having no luck. I'm going to be bobbing a deuce using a 105 trailer frame section and springs bolted to the bottom of the deuce frame with gussets welded in to the trailer frame section for added...

Anyone bob a deuce using LMTV or MRAP suspension?

I'm wondering if anyone has used them to bob a deuce. I've seen them available for sale as a bobber kit but couldn't find anyone who's written anything about using them. If anyone has could you please weigh in on it? Any difficulties using them? And any pictures if they're out there. Thanks

Part numbers for 2.5 ton Rockwell axle wheel studs

Does anyone have a part number for napa, oreilly or any other parts store for the right hand thread Rockwell wheel studs? I've found BK-641-1607 in several searches as a Napa part number but that is no longer a good part number and does not cross reference to anything new.

Hello, first Deuce, questions. PTO's etc.

Welcome! I just got my first deuce recently and it was a Brush truck too. Did you by chance buy one of the deueces for sale on GSA Auctions in PA?

Surprisingly the FD wired their lights and siren in completely separate from the truck wiring. I have no clue how they made it work though, it was all 12 volt equipment with no converter present.

I plan on restoring it and maybe making some modern improvements. Not sure about the color, but it won't be red. Right now I'm just doing fluid and filter changes and any maintenance that needs to be done, that way I know when it was done last. I have thought about making a camper. Not sure on...
