Yes take off the grill guard the trucks look much better without them. I think I would leave the rear window stone guard on though - Just in case.

I use mine for work. It stays in my shop most of the year. I pull it out for work around 3 times a year when we need it on rough and sandy jobs.

That's up to you. You can cover it with a tarp or shrink wrap it or whatever you want.

I agree just put it on a flat rack. I just had my most important piece of equipment (for business) shipped to and from the caribbean and it came out of it with no problems at all. It was on a flat rack on the top deck. Didnt have any signs of salt spray or anything. :)
